E-Textiles Network Webinar – E-Textiles for Wearable Healthcare

E-textiles are advanced textiles that include electronic functionality ranging from conductive tracks to sensing/actuating, and communications. Emerging advanced e-textiles offer great opportunities to push the boundaries of technologies used in healthcare by improving the user experience (e.g. comfortable to wear, easy to use) and motivating the user adherence. This talk covers market opportunities, e-textile technologies overview, case studies, and opportunities/challenges for the research and commercialisation of e-textile based wearable medical devices.
