E-Textiles Network Webinar – From Proof of Concept to Volume Production

The objective of the Welsh Government SMART Expertise “AFM2 Product Pipeline” project is to scale up demand driven innovative concepts where printing plays a significant role from the laboratory into volume production. This webinar will look at taking an innovative concept for a high technology garment through the AFM2 Product Pipeline from the lab to production, highlighting potential issues. The research challenge is to establish predictive algorithms to enable “right first time” from design through to production based on the relationships derived through the application of fluid mechanics, rheology, chemistry and the process operating parameters, driven by best practice based on sound scientific principles.
