Electronic textiles are difficult to dispose of, as they do not fit into existing electronics or textiles waste disposal methods. Increasing amounts of textiles and electronic waste are being created, with electronic textiles production set to increase. Work is being carried out at Nottingham Trent University to develop recommendations on best practice for design and disposal of these combinations of textiles and electronics.
