E-Textiles Network Webinar – Light as a Medium for Textiles; What Now? What Next?

This webinar will introduce research in the area of light emitting textiles that Dr Robertson has worked on as part of her business, Sara + Sarah Smart Textile Design Llp, which she runs with Sarah Taylor. Sara + Sarah have worked together since 2014 and continue to build research-led practice working with fashion and textile companies developing new products with smart materials and textiles.  The talk will highlight aspects of their research that developed concepts and practical solutions for more sustainable environmental and economical approaches to the development of light emitting textiles. The talk will conclude with thoughts on future potential and research in this area.
